Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Monroe, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts (36 hours/week)
• Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00am to 7:00pm

Role Details:

• Weekend-focused position
• Manager will conduct final interview
• On-call and call-back duties are required
• Expect to work holidays as part of this role
• Floating to other departments within imaging as needed

Qualifications:

• ARRT registry and certified in Interventional Radiology
• Current BLS certification
• Proven technical proficiency in IR procedures
• Thorough understanding of aseptic techniques and radiation safety
• Ability to excel in a high-pressure, collaborative healthcare environment
• Previous experience in an IR Tech role preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain IR equipment, assisting with various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Prepare and position patients for procedures while observing the highest standards of patient care and comfort
• Accurately follow physician orders and collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff
• Respond promptly to on-call and call-back needs, including rotating holiday and weekend coverage
• Consistently uphold hospital and regulatory safety protocols, including proper documentation
• Support imaging services by floating to additional units when necessary
