Interventional Radiology Technologist - Monroe, NC

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise as an IR Tech to provide specialized imaging services. This contract role requires flexibility, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to adapt to changing clinical needs.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend position
• Holiday shifts are required

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Proficient in all aspects of IR procedures and imaging technology
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care standards
• Ability to respond to on-call and call-back situations as required
• Willingness to float to other departments as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adherence to regulatory and infection prevention protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to support workflow and patient outcomes
• Ensure safe use of contrast media and monitor patients during and after procedures
• Provide support on-call as needed and respond promptly to urgent requests
• Maintain flexibility to work holidays and float to other imaging areas according to facility needs
