Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Monroe, North Carolina

An opportunity is available for an Imaging - IR Tech professional to contribute expertise on a contract basis. This position offers a day shift schedule and the chance to work in a collaborative clinical environment. The assignment provides stability with set hours, minimal call requirements, and recognized holidays off.

Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week
• 0800-1630, Monday through Friday

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IR Tech, with competencies in all aspects of interventional radiology imaging
• Valid certification and licensure required for IR technologists
• Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and aseptic technique
• Ability to adapt to department needs and support high-quality patient care
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures under supervision
• Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members during procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain equipment according to protocols
• Accurately document patient information and imaging records
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed based on department requirements

Additional Details:

• No weekend rotation required
• No floating to other units
• On-call participation based on department needs, with potential call-back requirements
• Closed on major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day
