Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Mooresville, NC

Schedule:

• 5.25-hour shifts
• 12-hour night shifts (as needed)

What You Need:

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification in Radiography, with IR specialty preferred
• Valid licensure to practice as an IR Tech as required by state regulations
• Recent experience working in Interventional Radiology, demonstrating advanced technical skills
• Solid understanding of imaging principles, patient positioning, and safety protocols related to IR procedures
• Excellent communication skills and a team-centric, patient-focused attitude

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, biopsies, embolizations, and line placements
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment with precision
• Assist physicians by maintaining a sterile field and monitoring patient status throughout procedures
• Adhere to all radiation safety and infection control guidelines
• Accurately document and manage imaging records and patient information
• Provide compassionate support, ensuring patients feel informed and at ease before, during, and after procedures
