Schedule/Hours:

  • 5.25-hour shifts
  • 12nbo schedule

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification with appropriate credentials in Radiography and Interventional Radiology required
  • Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Prior experience in Interventional Radiology settings highly preferred
  • Proficiency in operating IR imaging equipment and assisting with vascular and non-vascular procedures
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and patient care skills

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to perform routine and complex IR procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and workspace for diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures
  • Accurately document patient records, maintain confidentiality, and follow all safety guidelines and protocols
  • Provide patient education regarding upcoming procedures and post-procedure care
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures at all times
  • Assist in emergency situations and remain calm and effective under pressure
