Advance your healthcare career by supporting a multidisciplinary radiology team as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. This contract opportunity involves active participation in advanced diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional procedures, contributing to patient care excellence in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week, part-time
  • 3 shifts per week (12 hours each) or 4 shifts (10 hours each)
  • On-call rotation: every 4th weekend and 1 day per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrub in and assist proceduralists during complex vascular and neuro-interventional cases.
  • Operate both floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products needed during procedures.
  • Prepare procedural trays, maintaining strict sterile technique and infection control standards.
  • Manage post-intervention groin care.
  • Use power injection devices for contrast media administration.
  • Effectively utilize electronic medical records and transmit images to Sectra/PACS systems.
  • Communicate clearly within a diverse clinical team, using closed-loop protocols.
  • Uphold high standards of care when multitasking and managing multiple cases.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist, with NJ radiographic licensure.
  • High school diploma/GED and associate degree, or completion of an accredited radiographic program.
  • Current NJ Radiography license and certification (ARRT).
  • Valid BLS certification from AHS-approved American Heart Association program or equivalent.
