Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Mount Pleasant, SC

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional (VI) preferred
• Valid state radiologic technologist license (as required)
• Previous experience as an IR Tech or in a hospital imaging department highly desirable
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and interventional imaging protocols
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist with a range of interventional radiology procedures including angiography, biopsies, and drain placements
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient well-being during procedures
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols
• Accurately document patient history, procedure details, and post-procedural care
• Ensure imaging quality and support radiologists and physicians as needed
• Maintain and troubleshoot IR equipment to ensure optimal operation
