Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Specific experience in Interventional Radiology strongly preferred
• Valid state license in Radiologic Technology
• Current BLS certification
• Excellent knowledge of IR equipment and safety protocols
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate interventional radiology equipment for a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assist physicians with vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures under sterile technique
• Position patients appropriately and ensure their safety and comfort throughout all procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Adhere to established protocols to minimize radiation exposure and ensure regulatory compliance
• Troubleshoot equipment and promptly address any malfunction or safety concern
• Provide clear patient instructions and pre/post-procedure support
