Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Naperville, IL

Schedule/Hours:

• 0hr Day Shift, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday schedule
• Participation in 7-10 call shifts each month (including weekend and holiday call rotations)
• Floating to CT possible when accompanying patients

Qualifications:

• Experience as an IR Tech with proficiency in interventional radiology procedures
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) preferred
• Active, unrestricted state license required or eligibility to obtain
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to on-call and call-back requests
• Adaptable and positive approach to occasional floating assignments in CT

Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures, adhering to best practices and safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to provide seamless patient care
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate technical results
• Educate and prepare patients for procedures, maintaining comfort and safety
• Respond promptly and efficiently to call-back situations as scheduled
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records in compliance with facility standards
• Provide support in CT when patients require additional imaging services
