Interventional Radiology Technologist - New Britain, CT

Make a meaningful impact in patient care while utilizing your expertise in interventional radiology. We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in both vascular and neuro interventional procedures for a contract role. This position offers the opportunity to contribute alongside a collaborative team while developing your clinical skills in a dynamic environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (40 hours/week)
• On call every other weekend and rotating call Monday to Friday
• One on-call holiday shift may be required if it falls during your contracted term

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in both vascular and neuro interventional radiology is required; neuro interventional experience is essential
• ARRT certification and state licensure as required
• Ability to thrive in high-demand situations with strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack helpful, but training will be provided as needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, with an emphasis on both neuro and vascular cases
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols throughout procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
• Document procedures and patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record system
• Participate in departmental call coverage, including weekends and potential holidays, as scheduled
