Interventional Radiologic Technologist - New Britain, CT

An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist who is skilled in both vascular and neuro interventional procedures. In this contract role, you’ll provide essential imaging support, collaborating directly with clinicians and patients in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• 40 hours per week
• On-call every other weekend and rotating call Monday through Friday
• On-call coverage for one holiday if it occurs during contract

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in both vascular and neuro interventional radiology is a must; neuro interventional experience is essential
• Proficient in IR Tech duties and responsibilities
• Willingness to cross-train and learn new systems; training will be provided on EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack (no prior experience with these systems required)
• Current certification and compliance with state regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures
• Assist physicians in both vascular and neuro interventional cases, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care in a fast-paced unit
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation through provided systems (training available)
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols throughout each procedure
• Respond to on-call needs, providing skilled support during scheduled rotations

$2,710 - $2,867/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
