Interventional Radiologic Technologist - New Haven, CT

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, performing quality assurance checks as required.
• Accurately follow physicians’ instructions regarding patient positioning and imaging protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and monitor them throughout.
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of imaging results and patient information.
• Comply with established safety and infection control protocols.
• Support the team with inventory and supply management for the imaging department.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT certified preferred).
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical imaging department, with strong skills in interventional procedures.
• Knowledge of imaging equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with electronic health records is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to varying workflow and procedural demands.
