Qualifications & Skills:
- ARRT certification (Radiography) required; IR credential preferred
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or busy imaging center
- Proficient with current IR imaging equipment and sterile technique
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced clinical settings
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures as ordered by medical staff
- Prepare and maintain equipment and procedure rooms, ensuring safety and compliance
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless care
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, documenting relevant clinical information
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with departmental policies
