Interventional Radiologic Technologist in North Charleston, SC

Advance your career as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist working within a dynamic medical imaging department at a large acute care hospital. As a versatile team member, you will support a variety of imaging services in a state-of-the-art, 321-bed facility using Meditech for documentation. This contract role offers diversity in daily responsibilities and opportunities to apply your interventional and neuro-interventional expertise, while enjoying a weekday schedule with rotating call.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts: 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, and 9:00am until cases are complete (call days)
• Rotational call required on both weekdays and weekends

Required Qualifications:

• Certification in BLS and ACLS
• Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN)-accredited nursing program
• Strong experience in Interventional Radiology procedures
• Neuro Interventional Radiology experience highly preferred
• Proficient in performing moderate sedation in multiple imaging modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiology, IR)
• Ability to adapt and float across all imaging departments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Perform moderate sedation for patients as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient information and procedure details in Meditech
• Rotate and assist as needed across multiple imaging departments to support a cohesive team environment
