Interventional Radiologic Technologist - North Charleston, SC

An exciting opportunity is available for an Imaging professional with strong IR Tech skills to contribute to patient care within a hospital setting. The position involves full-time hours in a dynamic imaging department, offering exposure to a variety of cases—including interventional and neuro interventional radiology procedures.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour rotational shifts (7:00am–3:30pm, 8:00am–4:30pm, 9:00am–variable end as cases are completed)
• Rotational call required on weekdays and weekends

Desired Qualifications:

• Interventional Radiology experience required
• Neuro Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited school of nursing
• Competence in moderating sedation in various imaging settings (CT, MRI, US, Radiology, Interventional Radiology)
• Experience with Meditech documentation systems desired
• Professionalism and adaptability, with willingness to float across all medical imaging departments
• Blue scrubs required as part of the dress code

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist in a range of interventional radiology procedures
• Administer moderate sedation as needed and monitor patient responses
• Document accurately within the Meditech system
• Participate in rotational call and provide support during scheduled shift hours
• Collaborate closely with imaging department staff to promote high-quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with all hospital and imaging-specific policies
