Deliver exceptional patient care while working alongside a dedicated radiology and interventional team as an Imaging - IR Tech. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience in a collaborative healthcare environment where your technical expertise contributes directly to positive patient outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Interventional Radiology program
  • Active ARRT certification (R.T.)(R), with IR certification preferred
  • Current state radiology licensure
  • A minimum of one year of experience in interventional radiology or a related imaging specialty
  • Sound understanding of interventional procedures, anatomy, and sterile techniques
  • Proficiency with imaging equipment and radiation safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiologic procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective patient care throughout procedures
  • Accurately position patients and ensure comfort during imaging studies
  • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile technique standards
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, reporting any changes as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including procedure logs and imaging records
  • Follow established protocols for radiation safety and equipment maintenance
