Deliver exceptional patient care while working alongside a dedicated radiology and interventional team as an Imaging - IR Tech. Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Interventional Radiology program
- Active ARRT certification (R.T.)(R), with IR certification preferred
- Current state radiology licensure
- A minimum of one year of experience in interventional radiology or a related imaging specialty
- Sound understanding of interventional procedures, anatomy, and sterile techniques
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and radiation safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiologic procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective patient care throughout procedures
- Accurately position patients and ensure comfort during imaging studies
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile technique standards
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, reporting any changes as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation, including procedure logs and imaging records
- Follow established protocols for radiation safety and equipment maintenance
