Desired Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography; IR credential or experience strongly preferred
- Valid state license as required
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology
- Strong understanding of IR procedures, equipment operation, and patient safety practices
- Ability to quickly adapt in fast-paced clinical settings
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate imaging equipment to capture quality diagnostic images with attention to detail
- Collaborate with physicians and fellow healthcare professionals during procedures
- Adhere strictly to sterile technique, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines
- Document patient information, procedural data, and complete records accurately
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure for any complications or changes in condition
- Maintain equipment integrity by performing routine checks and reporting malfunctions promptly
