Desired Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography; IR credential or experience strongly preferred
  • Valid state license as required
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology
  • Strong understanding of IR procedures, equipment operation, and patient safety practices
  • Ability to quickly adapt in fast-paced clinical settings
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate imaging equipment to capture quality diagnostic images with attention to detail
  • Collaborate with physicians and fellow healthcare professionals during procedures
  • Adhere strictly to sterile technique, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines
  • Document patient information, procedural data, and complete records accurately
  • Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure for any complications or changes in condition
  • Maintain equipment integrity by performing routine checks and reporting malfunctions promptly
