As an Imaging professional specializing in IR Tech, you’ll work in a Special Procedures environment that fosters high-caliber clinical expertise and teamwork. With advanced Philips IR Table equipment and the Meditech documentation system, this is a prime opportunity to evolve your practice, building confidence in complex procedures from Y90 to prostate embolism. Collaborate with a dedicated staff of eight on the 2nd floor of the main hospital, gaining invaluable insights and expanding your professional horizons.

Schedule/Hours

  • Travel assignment
  • On-call requirement: 1 week per month

Required Qualifications

  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications
  • ARRT credentials
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interventional radiology procedures
  • Competency in operating Philips IR Table equipment
  • Ability to function independently in a specialized unit

Preferred Experience and Attributes

  • Previous travel assignment experience is advantageous
  • Strong adaptability in fast-paced or changing environments
  • Quick learner, ready to integrate into established workflow

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of IR procedures including Y90, prostate embolism, tunneled catheter placement, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
  • Support safe and effective patient care in special procedures
  • Document and track patient information in the Meditech system
  • Uphold department standards and infection control policies
  • Participate in a supportive, team-based approach to care
