Advance your career as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, providing crucial support alongside specialty proceduralists during complex diagnostic and vascular interventional procedures. Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
- On-call responsibilities: every 4th weekend and 1 day per week
- Part-time, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and assist proceduralists during advanced neuro-interventional and vascular cases
- Operate both floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic imaging equipment
- Recognize, retrieve, and circulate complex products for interventional procedures
- Exercise critical thinking in high-stakes, complex interventional scenarios
- Skillfully prepare procedural trays and uphold strict sterile and infection control protocols
- Manage post-procedural groin care and documentation in electronic medical records
- Transmit imaging data via Sectra/PACS system
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
- Implement power injection devices for contrast media administration
- Communicate clearly using closed-loop methods, supporting patient safety and workflow efficiency
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist
- Active NJ radiographic licensure
- Current ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification (AHS credentialed or American Heart Association)
- Associate degree or completion of accredited radiographic program (high school diploma/GED required)
