Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• ARRT certification (VIR Certified highly preferred)
• Active or eligibility for NYS radiologic technologist license
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Minimum two years' experience in Interventional Radiology
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and instruct patients for examinations; assist Radiologist during procedures
• Consistently produce high-quality, diagnostic radiologic images through proper selection of exposure and positioning
• Operate all imaging equipment proficiently, reporting issues promptly
• Observe medication security standards and safeguard patient confidentiality
• Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS effectively
• Participate in departmental and facility performance improvement initiatives
• Provide timely assistance with room turnover and support colleagues when procedural volume allows
• Respond knowledgeably to technical inquiries from clinical staff
