Schedule/Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality radiologic images by selecting proper exposure factors and positioning.
• Collaborate with department members to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Demonstrate flexibility, compassion, accountability, and respect in all patient and staff interactions.
• Prepare and instruct patients for examinations, assisting radiologists during procedures.
• Operate and maintain all imaging equipment; promptly report malfunctions.
• Complete assigned procedures efficiently and assist with turnover or other tasks as needed.
• Maintain medication security and ensure safety in healthcare provision across all age groups.
• Document patient care using Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS, ensuring full confidentiality.
• Answer technical inquiries from physicians and hospital staff with professionalism.
• Participate in hospital improvement initiatives and maintain required documentation privacy.

Qualifications:

• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum two years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• NYS Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility to obtain before start)
• ARRT certified
• VIR (Vascular Interventional Radiology) certification preferred
