Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) - Plainfield, Illinois

Deliver critical imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with RT(R) and preferred IR credential
• State licensure to practice as required
• Proven experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• Comprehensive understanding of interventional radiographic procedures, safety protocols, and sterile techniques
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and work efficiently under pressure

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate interventional radiology equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and radiation safety
• Monitor patient condition during imaging and immediately report any changes or concerns
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of procedures
• Adhere to all relevant regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
• Prepare procedural rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory of supplies
• Provide compassionate care by supporting patients throughout procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns
