Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Providence, RI

Qualifications and Experience:

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with certification in Interventional Radiology (VI) preferred
• Proven experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of fluoroscopy, digital subtraction angiography, and sterile technique
• Ability to assist physicians during vascular and non-vascular procedures
• Familiarity with PACS and imaging software
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment

Schedule/Hours:

• Schedule varies based on facility needs; flexibility expected to cover day, evening, or weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for IR procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure patient safety and procedural accuracy
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, recognizing and reporting changes in condition
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the IR suite, including supply inventory management
• Accurately document procedures, patient responses, and technical factors
