Make a difference in patient care by supporting minimally invasive, image-guided procedures as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. In this contract role, you will play a vital part within both the radiology and operating room environments, bringing your technical expertise and clinical knowledge to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as an IR Technologist or equivalent experience in Interventional Radiology
  • Demonstrated proficiency with all imaging equipment used in IR settings
  • Previous experience assisting with neuro, cardiac, or vascular surgery procedures is required
  • Strong background in both diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, TIPS, dialysis access/fistula interventions, and Y90/SIRT treatments
  • Excellent sterile scrub technique and familiarity with case circulating duties
  • Ability to collaborate in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams and adapt to new technology and protocols
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor a wide range of imaging equipment to support interventional procedures
  • Provide sterile scrub assistance during procedures, ensuring safety and compliance with infection control guidelines
  • Circulate in both radiology and OR settings, anticipating the needs of clinicians and responding efficiently
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality assurance initiatives
  • Participate in the setup and turnover of procedural areas, promoting seamless workflow
  • Stay current with emerging IR techniques and safety standards
