Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (R) certification; additional IR credentialing preferred
  • Valid state license (or eligibility)
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or acute care environment
  • Proficiency in imaging procedures, fluoroscopy, and cross-sectional anatomy
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • BLS certification (AHA)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures with a focus on patient safety and high technical quality
  • Prepare equipment, maintain sterile technique, and assist interventionalists during procedures
  • Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients before, during, and after imaging
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists throughout patient care
