Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - Rochester, NY

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Interventional Radiology
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Active NYS license or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment
• ARRT certification required
• VIR Certified preferred

Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment; specific shifts to be discussed during the interview process

Core Responsibilities:

• Select exposure factors, position patients, and produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate effectively within the department, displaying flexibility, professionalism, and compassion
• Prepare and instruct patients for exams; assist radiologists during procedures
• Operate imaging equipment safely and report any malfunctions
• Ensure timely completion of procedures, assist with room turnover, and support medication security protocols
• Demonstrate proficiency across Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and PACS
• Uphold confidentiality standards and respond professionally to technical inquiries from staff or physicians
• Take part in hospital performance improvement activities and maintain exceptional interpersonal skills
