Travel Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Silver Spring, MD

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts
• Weekend call required: one full weekend per month
• On-call: 7-10 days/month, with a quick 30-minute STEMI response
• No block scheduling or floating between units

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Eligible or active Maryland license
• Acute care IR Tech experience preferred
• Must pass a strict nicotine and cotinine screening—no tobacco or nicotine use in any form
• Commitment to on-call requirements with guaranteed 2-hour call-back

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures for diverse cases
• Collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary medical team
• Efficiently navigate and document within Cerner and McKesson EHR systems
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and comfort
• Contribute to a positive, adaptable work culture by upholding hospital and unit standards
