Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Sterling Heights, Michigan

A highly skilled Imaging professional is needed to fill an Interventional Radiology Technologist position supporting a dynamic healthcare team. This 13-week assignment focuses on providing top-tier clinical support in vascular interventional radiology using advanced imaging technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• Participation in a rotating call schedule

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IR Tech, specifically with vascular procedures
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills in an imaging setting
• Current certification and licensure appropriate for Interventional Radiology Technologists
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality vascular interventional procedures utilizing established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to ensure optimal patient care and imaging outcomes
• Prepare and position patients for procedures with attention to comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain specialized radiology equipment following safety and infection control standards
• Accurately document all procedures and care in Epic EMR
• Respond promptly to call schedule and assist in urgent or after-hours cases

$2,317 - $2,534/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
