Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel role with variable shifts based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate interventional radiology (IR) equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for IR examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant safety protocols and standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to imaging equipment
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and proper sanitization of the IR suite

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography; IR specialty certification preferred
  • Valid state license (or eligibility) for radiology technologists as required
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in interventional radiology or imaging
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and to follow facility-specific procedures
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control best practices
