Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Summerville, SC

Advance your career in Interventional Radiology with a contract opportunity in a large hospital setting. This position plays a vital role in patient care across a range of imaging departments, with a focus on innovative procedures and technologies. As part of a collaborative and experienced team, you will have the chance to grow your skills while contributing directly to patient outcomes.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday rotation
• 8-hour shifts: 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, or 9am until cases are completed (call days)
• Rotational call on weekdays and weekends

Required Qualifications:

• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
• Neuro Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited school of nursing
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in providing moderate sedation in multiple imaging departments (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiology, IR)
• Demonstrated ability to float between various areas within Medical Imaging
• Blue scrubs required as uniform

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures safely and efficiently
• Deliver moderate sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Rotate across departments and adapt to dynamic clinical needs
• Accurately document all procedures and patient interactions using the Meditech system
• Maintain clear communication with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
