Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Experience in interventional radiology procedures and imaging techniques
• Proficiency with angiography, vascular access, and fluoroscopy equipment
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety standards
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving clinical situations and follow detailed protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment during interventional procedures, ensuring accurate image capture and patient safety
• Assist physicians with a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including vascular, non-vascular, and angiographic studies
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and providing reassurance throughout
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, responding promptly to any complications
• Document procedure details accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control guidelines at all times
• Coordinate with other members of the healthcare team for effective patient care delivery
