Schedule/Hours
- Shifts available: 3 x 12-hour shifts (0800-1830), 4 x 10-hour shifts (0800-1830), or 5 x 8-hour shifts (0800-1630)
- 3-4 call days per month
- Weekend call: every 5th–6th weekend (Friday evening to Monday morning)
- Holiday coverage as scheduled
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' dedicated IR Tech experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center (IR Body/IR Neuro)
- ARRT-R or RCIS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience scrubbing, assisting procedures, circulating, and operating imaging equipment
- Previous experience with Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging systems preferred
- Adaptable with tech extenders, RNs, and a collaborative provider team
- Comfortable guiding or working with new grads is a plus
Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist on a range of advanced IR procedures, including embolizations, thrombectomy, and sclerotherapy
- Circulate and operate department technology
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (Neurosurgery, Interventional Radiology, APPs)
- Assist with patient throughput, equipment maintenance, and accurate charting with EPIC
