Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures with attention to safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other clinicians to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment; ensure timely setup and assistance during procedures
- Accurately document patient information and procedural data
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times
- Respond effectively to emergencies during procedures and contribute to a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (R) certification; additional IR (VI) certification preferred
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- State licensure eligibility in Iowa
- Minimum one year of recent interventional radiology experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
