Travel Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Vestal, NY

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
• On-call duty required every other weekend (Friday 4:30 p.m. to Monday 7:30 a.m.—must be able to report within 30 minutes)

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) certification
• New York State license
• BLS certification
• Demonstrated IR and neurointerventional experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for all IR and neurointerventional procedures (discograms, angiography, therapeutic injections, aspirations, ablations, and more)
• Assist in both sterile and non-sterile aspects of neuro procedures; including tumor, epistaxis, and spinal lesion embolizations
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and follow established protocols to ensure patient safety
• Instruct students/residents; perform preceptor duties
• Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain supply inventory
• Utilize hospital information systems, including IR scheduling
• Review coding for accurate procedure billing
• Remain current with new technology and clinical techniques through ongoing education
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies
