Schedule/Hours:
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (8:00 am – 4:30 pm)
- 40 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IR Technologist with strong proficiency in Interventional Radiology imaging techniques
- Registered ARRT (R) (VI) or (CV), or equivalent certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of radiologic safety standards and sterile procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced clinical setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate diagnostic imaging equipment for IR procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
- Assist physicians with vascular and non-vascular procedures, maintaining a sterile environment throughout
- Explain procedures, position patients appropriately, and monitor their comfort and safety
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with departmental protocols
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations and participate in on-call rotations as required
- Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure outstanding patient care
