Advance your career as a vital member of an interventional radiology imaging team, working directly under the guidance of a Radiologist to perform invasive procedures supporting complex diagnostic needs. Your expertise will ensure patient care and diagnostic excellence in every procedure.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Regular hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • On-call participation is required
  • Weekend on-call: one weekend every 6 weeks
  • Monday–Friday evening on-call: every 6 weeks (on-call rotation is subject to departmental volume)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current BLS certification required
  • Active ARRT registration; with Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) preferred
  • Demonstrated technical skills as an IR Tech in a hospital or high-acuity setting
  • Ability to communicate clearly with patients and clinical teams
  • Commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explain procedures to patients, ensuring clarity and compassion
  • Prepare patients and gather all relevant medical history
  • Ready contrast media, medications, and IV solutions per protocols
  • Set up and maintain sterile field, monitoring equipment, and imaging technology
  • Ensure adequate inventory of supplies and replenish as needed
  • Assess patient condition pre-, peri-, and post-procedure
  • Operate radiology equipment, optimizing imaging results while applying ALARA principles
  • Support training initiatives for new staff and students as needed
  • Ensure high-quality imaging data entry and review within PACS and completion in RIS
  • Uphold department, hospital, and professional standards for communication, documentation, and quality measures
