Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) - Warren, Michigan

An excellent opportunity awaits a skilled Imaging Professional with specialization as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist. Ideal candidates will bring both technical expertise and strong communication skills to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic radiology department. This assignment spans 13 weeks and offers a consistent schedule.

Schedule/Hours:

• 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Monday through Friday
• Participation in a call schedule is required

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated IR vascular experience is essential
• Prior experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Current ARRT certification (R), with advanced IR credentials preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, patient safety, and interventional procedures
• Previous hospital or clinical imaging experience is highly desirable
• Effective teamwork and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in a variety of IR procedures, including angiograms and vascular studies
• Prepare and position patients for interventional procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patients during all phases of examinations, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
• Accurately document procedures and maintain records in the Epic system
• Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and work areas in line with infection control guidelines
• Respond efficiently to call schedule assignments to handle urgent cases
