Deliver exceptional patient care while utilizing your specialized imaging expertise as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment, providing critical support to physicians during advanced imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality imaging studies, ensuring optimal image clarity and patient safety throughout interventional radiology procedures.
  • Assist interventional radiologists with the preparation, execution, and monitoring of minimally invasive treatments.
  • Adhere strictly to aseptic technique, radiation safety standards, and infection control policies.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, troubleshooting and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately, clearly explaining procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive, timely records in accordance with facility policies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize clinical outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiography; additional IR certification preferred.
  • Valid state radiologic technologist license.
  • Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology or a related imaging specialty.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations, and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with advanced medical imaging technology.
