An opportunity is available for an experienced professional with expertise in imaging as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing high-quality patient care and skilled in supporting a dynamic clinical team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registration as an IR Tech
  • Experience with a range of interventional radiology procedures and imaging equipment
  • Thorough understanding of sterile technique, safety protocols, and radiation safety
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • BLS certification (preferred or required, as applicable)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment during interventional radiology procedures
  • Assist physicians with patient positioning, sterile preparation, and instrumentation
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs throughout procedures
  • Ensure accurate completion of clinical records and patient charts
  • Manage supplies, inventory, and procedure room readiness
  • Adhere to all infection prevention and safety guidelines
