Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Watkinsville, Georgia

A healthcare facility is seeking a detail-oriented professional skilled in Imaging — specifically as an Interventional Radiology Technologist — to contribute their expertise as part of a contract opportunity. This role requires proven neuro experience to support a busy IR department.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 9–10 call shifts per month
• Must be available the week of 12/29

Qualifications:

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Demonstrable neuro experience in an Interventional Radiology environment
• Proficiency in the full spectrum of IR Tech duties, inclusive of imaging, procedure assistance, and patient preparation
• Strong ability to function independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and adaptability to fast-paced scenarios

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of neuro-interventional radiologic procedures under physician supervision
• Prepare and position patients safely for examinations and procedures
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring adherence to radiation safety practices
• Assist with inventory, supply restocking, and maintenance of procedural areas
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases as required
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation for procedures and patient records
