Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) - Watkinsville, Georgia

A specialized imaging opportunity is available for an experienced professional with expertise in Interventional Radiology (IR) technology and neuro-focused procedures. This contract position is ideal for someone with a background in high-acuity settings and a passion for patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 9-10 days of on-call responsibility per month
• Must be available the week of 12/29

Profile of Desired Candidate:

• Demonstrated proficiency as an IR Tech, with specific neuro experience
• Valid and current BLS certification
• Ability to respond effectively in urgent and emergent situations
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary care teams
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and procedural standards

Core Duties:

• Support vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, focusing on neuro-interventional cases
• Prepare and assist with advanced imaging equipment and ensure sterile technique during all procedures
• Collaborate with physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Perform patient assessments before and after procedures, clearly documenting observations
• Remain available for call coverage as scheduled, providing rapid response when needed

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
