Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Waxhaw, NC

Schedule/Hours

• 8-hour day shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend rotation
• Closed on major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
• On-call as needed, determined by department staffing
• No floating required

Qualifications/Desired Experience

• Proficient in imaging with a focus on Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Previous experience as an IR Tech in a clinical or hospital setting
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent certification preferred
• Thorough understanding of radiology protocols, safety procedures, and sterile techniques
• Strong communication and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures according to established protocols and physician orders
• Operate imaging and related equipment with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and confidentiality
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance standards
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records

$2,541 - $2,688/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
