Schedule/Hours

  • Travel assignment with variable shifts (specific schedule provided upon interview)

Key Qualifications

  • American Heart Association BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology
  • Current NYS License, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • ARRT credentials required; VIR certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities

  • Select appropriate exposure factors and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
  • Collaborate professionally with all department members to swiftly resolve issues
  • Prepare patients for imaging, instructing and assisting them and the Radiologist during procedures
  • Master operation of all imaging equipment and promptly report technical issues to management
  • Adhere strictly to medication security protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Demonstrate compassionate, respectful, and responsive interpersonal skills with patients of all ages
  • Participate actively in hospital performance improvement initiatives and uphold quality standards
  • Utilize hospital information systems (HIS, RIS, PACS) efficiently for comprehensive documentation
  • Address physician and hospital staff inquiries with professionalism and technical expertise
