Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time travel assignment (details provided during interview)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and set exposure factors to consistently produce high-quality radiologic images.
  • Prepare and instruct patients for exams; assist the Radiologist during specialized procedures.
  • Operate all IR equipment proficiently, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
  • Perform all assigned imaging procedures efficiently; assist with room turnover or aid colleagues as needed.
  • Maintain the security of medications and verify authorized access.
  • Exhibit exceptional patient care across all age groups, showing courtesy, compassion, and professionalism.
  • Utilize Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and PACS accurately for documentation and data management.
  • Protect patient confidentiality at every step and respond to technical inquiries from medical staff using excellent communication skills.
  • Engage in hospital improvement initiatives and continuous process enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • American Heart Association BLS certification (mandatory)
  • Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience
  • Valid NYS License (or eligibility to obtain before starting)
  • ARRT certification required
  • VIR Certification preferred
