Interventional Radiology Technologist - West Hartford, CT

Step into a critical imaging role providing expertise in both vascular and neuro interventional procedures. This contract opportunity offers established shift hours and regular on-call rotation, supporting clinical teams dedicated to quality patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, 40 hours per week
• On-call every other weekend and rotating call Monday through Friday
• On-call one holiday, if it falls within contract dates

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven background in both vascular and neuro interventional radiology; neuro experience is required
• Registered ARRT certification or eligibility
• Current state licensure, if applicable to your profession
• Experience with IR lab procedures, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cases
• Adaptable to technology; willing to learn EPIC, Synapse, and Startrack EMR/PACS (prior familiarity is welcome, but not required)
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams and patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced imaging for interventional radiology (IR) cases, focusing on both vascular and neuro procedures
• Operate imaging equipment and assist physician with real-time imaging during minimally invasive procedures
• Ensure accurate patient documentation using electronic medical records
• Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to strict safety protocols
• Respond efficiently to on-call cases, providing calm and skilled support in urgent situations
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care
