As part of a cutting-edge interventional radiology department equipped with Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging systems, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of both neuro and body IR cases at a Comprehensive Stroke Center. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn alongside expert providers and share your knowledge with new grads in a supportive environment emphasizing teamwork, adaptability, and professional growth.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Choice of 3x12s (8:00–18:30), 4x10s (8:00–18:30), or 5x8s (8:00–16:30)
  • 3–4 call days per month and every 5th–6th weekend on call (Friday 16:30–Monday 08:00)
  • Holiday coverage as scheduled; every 4–6 week schedule cycles

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Interventional Radiology experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center (body and/or neuro cases)
  • Current ARRT-R or RCIS certification
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience scrubbing into cases, circulating, operating imaging equipment, and performing supply management
  • Comfortable working with and guiding new graduates; mentorship/precepting abilities appreciated

Responsibilities:

  • Support a fast-paced IR team performing procedures such as thrombectomy, embolization, biopsies, sclerotherapy, and complex neuro interventions
  • Scrub and assist providers during intricate procedures
  • Manage room preparation, equipment setup, patient transport, and workflow documentation with the support of tech extenders and RNs
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse, multidisciplinary team in an academic environment
