Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible options: 3x12s (8:00am–6:30pm), 4x10s (8:00am–6:30pm), or 5x8s (8:00am–4:30pm)
- Call: 3–4 days/month with weekend call every 5th-6th weekend (Friday evening to Monday morning)
- Holiday shifts expected (approximately 75% of scheduled holidays)
- Shift scheduling every 4–6 weeks; RTO requests considered with management approval
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- ARRT-R or RCIS certification required
- BLS certification required
- At least 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience (body/neuro) in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Experience scrubbing, assisting in procedures, and circulating (operating equipment & managing supplies)
- Open to first-time travelers
- Comfortable working with new graduates and participating in preceptorship
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support during advanced neuro and body interventional procedures such as complex embolizations, thrombectomies, Y-90, biopsies, and drainages
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team in a department with 8 IR rooms handling 45–50 cases daily
- Engage in comprehensive case management, including documentation via EPIC EMR
- Maintain high safety and quality standards using Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging systems
- Work efficiently with tech extenders and support staff for room turnover, transport, and inventory
