Exciting opportunity for a skilled Mammo Tech to support imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This 13-week contract focuses on providing high-quality mammography imaging to patients, supporting early detection and patient care. The position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals dedicated to patient safety and imaging excellence.
Schedule:
- 5 shifts per week (Monday through Friday)
- 8-hour days, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Qualifications:
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT(M) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography)
- MRT (Mammography Radiologic Technologist) certification
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License
- Previous experience performing mammograms in a clinical setting required
- Excellent communication skills and patient-focused attitude
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mammography imaging for screening and diagnostic purposes
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout imaging procedures
- Verify patient identity and update medical records accurately
- Set up and operate mammography imaging equipment in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any issues for prompt resolution
- Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and quality assurance guidelines
