Mammography Technologist in Albany, NY

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform digital mammography exams according to established protocols and best practices
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Accurately document and maintain patient records using electronic medical systems
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines for imaging and patient confidentiality
• Calibrate and maintain mammography equipment to guarantee optimal image quality
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to achieve excellent diagnostic outcomes

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Mammography (M) required
• Proven experience as a Mammo Technologist in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of breast imaging techniques and positioning
• Commitment to quality patient care and sensitivity to patient needs
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment and work both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems and related healthcare IT platforms
