Mammography Technologist - Albany, NY

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing routine and specialized mammography exams following established protocols
• Maintaining accurate records and imaging documentation
• Operating and maintaining imaging equipment with the highest attention to safety and quality
• Educating and guiding patients through procedures, addressing concerns promptly and compassionately
• Collaborating with radiologists and other clinical staff to support diagnostic accuracy and patient care
• Adhering to regulatory standards and facility guidelines for imaging and patient privacy
• Assisting with quality assurance activities to uphold best practices within the department

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with mammography certification
• Current ARRT (M) credential
• Demonstrated hands-on experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Strong understanding of mammography imaging protocols and radiation safety
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and with a supportive team
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient rapport and comfort
• Up-to-date BLS certification (as required)
