Mammography Technologist | Beverly Hills, California

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in mammography imaging. This role involves supporting a high-volume department and collaborating with a dedicated team to provide vital screening and diagnostic services. Flexibility is essential, as shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation; daily hours fall between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, depending on departmental needs. Candidates should be comfortable floating between various departments within the main campus.

Key Qualifications:

• Active California Mammography Technician license and CRT (M) required
• ARRT certification highly preferred
• Valid BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required
• Experience with both 2D and 3D mammography encouraged
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation as needed
• Day shifts: five 8-hour blocks (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM); hours may vary per department needs
• No on-call required, but must be able to float between departments when necessary

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography (2D and 3D), wire and radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• Collaborate closely with other imaging professionals and healthcare staff
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and confidentiality throughout all procedures
• Document all procedures and findings accurately in accordance with facility guidelines
• Support workflow within various imaging departments as patient volume and needs change
