Advance your imaging career in a dynamic Mammography department providing essential diagnostic and screening services. This contract opportunity offers a weekday schedule with Saturday rotation, focusing on high-quality patient care utilizing the latest 2D and 3D mammography technology.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation as needed
- Day shifts between 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (hours may vary depending on department requirements)
- No on-call required
Key Qualifications:
- California Mammography Technologist license and CRT (M) required
- ARRT certification highly preferred
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent mammography experience
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Flexibility to float to different imaging areas within the main campus
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including both 2D and 3D imaging
- Assist with wire and radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies as needed
- Provide compassionate, patient-focused care throughout mammography procedures
- Coordinate workflow efficiently in a high-volume environment with approximately 150 cases daily
- Communicate scan findings and patient information clearly with the radiology team
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- Adapt to workflow changes and float as needed to other imaging units within the main campus
