Advance your imaging career in a dynamic Mammography department providing essential diagnostic and screening services. This contract opportunity offers a weekday schedule with Saturday rotation, focusing on high-quality patient care utilizing the latest 2D and 3D mammography technology.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation as needed
  • Day shifts between 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (hours may vary depending on department requirements)
  • No on-call required

Key Qualifications:

  • California Mammography Technologist license and CRT (M) required
  • ARRT certification highly preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent mammography experience
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Flexibility to float to different imaging areas within the main campus

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including both 2D and 3D imaging
  • Assist with wire and radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies as needed
  • Provide compassionate, patient-focused care throughout mammography procedures
  • Coordinate workflow efficiently in a high-volume environment with approximately 150 cases daily
  • Communicate scan findings and patient information clearly with the radiology team
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to departmental policies and procedures
  • Adapt to workflow changes and float as needed to other imaging units within the main campus
