Bring your expertise in mammography imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment where you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate patient care. This contract opportunity offers a varied and engaging day-to-day experience within a premier medical setting.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation
  • Shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm (hours may vary by department need)
  • Day shifts, typically 5x8-hour blocks
  • Occasional floating to different departments within the main campus as required
  • No on-call shifts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current California state license for Mammography Technologist (CRT (M)) required
  • BLS Certification (required)
  • ARRT Certification is highly preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • Proficiency in both screening and diagnostic mammography, including 2D and 3D imaging, as well as wire and radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
  • Ability to adapt and float to various imaging departments as needed
  • Open to first-time travelers

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality mammographic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques for screening and diagnostic studies, following established protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results
  • Accurately document patient records and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Flexibly support multiple departments throughout the main campus to accommodate patient volume and departmental needs
  • Maintain a daily case load of approximately 150 studies with keen attention to detail
