Key Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT certification in Mammography or equivalent credentials
  • Active state licensure for radiologic technologists
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in mammography imaging
  • Proficiency in operating digital mammography equipment
  • Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols and patient care best practices
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality digital mammography exams following established guidelines and safety protocols
  • Ensure patient comfort, explain procedures, and address concerns in a compassionate manner
  • Maintain and calibrate mammography equipment to ensure optimal function and image quality
  • Accurately document patient history, technical factors, and test outcomes in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to meet imaging workflow and scheduling requirements
  • Uphold confidentiality standards and promote patient safety at all times
  • Participate in required quality assurance checks and continuing education as needed
