As a specialist in imaging, you'll perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography studies while ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care at every step. Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • On-call requirements as assigned

Qualifications:

  • ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography
  • Active California Radiologic Technologist License
  • Active California Mammographic Technologist License
  • Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
  • California Venipuncture Certificate (or obtained within 3 months of hire)
  • At least five years of direct mammography technologist experience
  • Ability to stand and walk 4–6 hours per day, lift up to 35 pounds, and work with imaging equipment
  • Comfortable providing care to patients of all ages

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and compliance with ALARA radiation safety principles
  • Coordinate exams with radiologists and retrieve prior images for comparison
  • Educate patients on breast health and self-exams
  • Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operations
  • Support Bone Density exams and assist with CT, general X-ray, and Fluoroscopy/OR procedures as needed
  • Advocate for seamless patient care by minimizing inconvenience and delays
  • Participate in outreach activities and departmental initiatives
