Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified in Mammography Technology (ARRT (M) credential preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in performing mammograms and operating related imaging equipment
- Proven track record of maintaining patient comfort, confidentiality, and safety
- Knowledge of QA/QC protocols specific to mammography imaging
- Familiarity with current state and federal regulations regarding diagnostic imaging
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and established protocols
- Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process, ensuring a comfortable and respectful experience
- Accurately document images, patient history, and procedure details in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality and timely imaging results
- Uphold all facility safety standards and infection control procedures
- Routinely check and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions to technical support
- Participate in ongoing department quality improvement initiatives

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
