Mammography Technologist - Bronx, NY

Seeking a skilled imaging professional with expertise in mammography for an important contract role. This position plays a vital part in delivering compassionate care and accurate imaging services to patients. As a Mammography Technologist, you will use advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality mammograms, contributing directly to the early detection and treatment of breast diseases.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Mammography Technologist or Mammo Tech
• Current certification in radiologic technology (ARRT) with mammography credential
• State licensure as required
• Solid understanding of mammography imaging protocols and quality assurance procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively and comfort working with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to delivering safe, ethical care and following HIPAA standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Accurately document patient information and imaging data
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, performing regular quality checks
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams for timely, high-quality image management
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and privacy guidelines
