Key Schedule Information:

Essential Qualifications:
- Current certification or registry in mammography technology (ARRT preferred)
- Demonstrated experience operating mammography equipment and performing screening and diagnostic studies
- In-depth knowledge of breast anatomy, positioning techniques, radiation safety, and patient care best practices
- Strong attention to detail with high standards for image quality and patient safety
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and medical staff
- Compliance with regulatory and facility requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammograms according to physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, thoroughly explaining each step and providing comfort
- Operate mammography systems, ensuring proper image capture and quality control
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, procedure details, and reporting as required
- Monitor and manage imaging inventory and safety supplies as needed
- Implement infection control procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in patient diagnosis and care planning
