Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in radiologic technology; ARRT (M) preferred
- Valid state license to practice as a Mammography Technologist
- Proven experience performing mammograms and handling digital mammography equipment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Commitment to patient privacy and adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and capacity to follow established imaging protocols
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammographic imaging examinations as ordered by physicians
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding of procedures at all times
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment in compliance with quality assurance standards
- Record patient histories and relevant information accurately in medical records
