Qualifications:

• ARRT (Mammography) certification required
• Current, active state radiologic technologist license
• Demonstrated proficiency in mammography procedures and related imaging equipment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to interact with patients empathetically, providing reassurance and clear instructions
• Experience as a Mammography or Mammo Tech preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures, ensuring comfort and privacy
• Operate mammography imaging equipment safely and efficiently, producing high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs in accordance with facility guidelines and regulatory standards
• Adhere strictly to protocols for radiation safety and infection control
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating closely with radiologists and other healthcare staff
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding procedures and follow-up as needed
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance activities and assist with equipment calibration checks
